Being Healthy At The Priory
HEALTHY LUNCH BOXES & EATING ALL YOUR LUNCH COMPETITION
All the children at The Priory are encouraged to have a calm and enjoyable healthy lunch. We promote a calming environment, where the children can eat in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. All children that bring a healthy packed lunch, eat all their lunch (packed lunch or school dinner) and have reinforced and promoted a peaceful environment get given raffle tickets. Their name is then entered into the draw, for a weekly winner. The winner gets to choose a new book for their classroom.

The sports leaders are Year 5 children who have trained during their PE lessons to lead younger children in active sessions. The Year 5 children work with a designated KS1 class each lunchtime to ensure they have a happy, active and enjoyable time. The session includes a warm up, followed by a variety of different games and activities. Our new sports leaders are currently in training.
Both Year 5 and KS1 children are thoroughly enjoying the lunchtimes sessions. Thank you to all the Year 5 children who are so dedicated and enthusiastic, for making it a huge success.
