The Priory, Church of England Primary School

London In Bloom Award

The Mayor of Merton, Councillor Agatha Akyigyina visited The Priory C of E Primary School in Wimbledon to congratulate the pupils on winning a London in Bloom award for the second year running. She presented The Priory with our certificate during Collective Worship. The pupils and staff have worked extremely hard on looking after our environment and are very proud.

London in Bloom takes place every year and offers boroughs, community groups, residents and businesses the opportunity to work together to improve the capital’s environment, making it a greener, cleaner and more attractive place to live, work and visit.

There is also a gardening campaign for schools, which aims to encourage young people to get involved in projects to improve their school grounds. London in Bloom’s Silver Gilt prize for schools this year was won by The Priory C of E Primary School in Wimbledon.
